Question studering problem wile driving

I've had my '04 RX8 for about a year now and it started giving me a studering problem around 4000 rpm. It's almost got 65000 miles on it so i changed the ignition coils and i did the spark plugs bout 6 months ago but don't really know what causes this problem i got. Anyone know what i need to do to fix it?

This stuttering
is it under hard acceleration or just mild acceleration
does it matter if engine is hot or cold
what is your fuel economy like ?

I'm getting a little less miles per gallon, it does it under mild and hard acceleration, and doesn't matter if engine is cold or not always does it. I don't think that causes the gas problem cuz i let the car warm up in the morning for like 15 minutes cuz its cold out there.

I would run a can of Seafoam on half or quarter a tank of gas and give her hell. It's $8 to see if you have some carbon or gunk buildup. If there is some improvement run another it might do it.

Are you running an aftermarket cat? I haven't heard of those clogging up. Just breaking/burning up. OEM cats can clog (they have for me). You are still under warranty for a factory cat.

U.S. warranty on the OEM cat is 8 yrs/80,000 miles. You state that you are at 65k miles. That is well within the warranty period.

... gotta check on the warrenty then but i dout it cuz the car came originally from new york and i bought it from a used car dealer hear in maryland. dont know if that affects the warrenty. but anyways i was thinkin in putting a high flow after market cat in it now.
