I didnt really know where this topic fit into so I will just put it here.

I have a 04 Rx-8 and when I bought it used it came with Lambo doors, CAI, Greddy Exhaust blah blah blah.

Anyways the lambo doors are starting to make me really angry with having to slide into my car and having to teach people how to open them properly so they dont damage the side of the car and the paint. I liked the look of the lambo doors when I first got it but it has gotten old and I have searched and searched and haven't been able to find stock door hinges used or new. I could go to the dealer and probably get some but the Marine Corps doesn't pay me enough to pay their crazy prices. Anyone have any input on where I could find a set or buy some from someone on here?

I am looking at getting the car car repainted and bodywork done to fix some damage the doors have made and would like to have regular doors that won't do that kind of damage before I shell out the cash to get it fixed.

I know that there has been some part outs for crashed rx-8s in the past but I didnt have a problem then. Also the right side window motor decided to stop working going up, it will go down but not back up, and the driver side locking actuator mechanism failed also.... I know where I can find a Window motor but havent been able to find the driver side locking mech anywhere...

I have the driver side locking mechanism if you'd like that it came off an 04 back when i was replacing my door, pm me if interested

 

Okay pm'ed. Anyone have an extra pair of hinges or know someone that does? Also how much do you think they cost?

Okay found some hinges but there is also a door check back http://www.mazdapartscenter.com/sche.../5/5455480.gif part number 4, is that needed for the stock doors?

Try sending a PM over to Vyndictive. When we took apart his parts car we never did remove the door hinges so they are probably still on the body.
