HI ALL, I NEED UR HELP. I CHANGED MY STEERING RACK AND WHEN I STARTED THE CAR IT WENT CRAZY, ALL THE WAY TO THE LEFT., DISCONNECTED THE BATT, AND IT DID IT AGAIN.

ANY IDEAS??

You need to initialize it...you need to use a iDS ........dealer

Changed Like Changed. Took The Old, Broken One And Put A New/used One I Bought From Mr. Mazda In Austin.

not quick and efficient- take it to the dealer

 

If you do take it to the dealer...make them get out the book so they can follow the procedure to the letter...if it isn't perfect...it won't work...and they have to keep doing it over till they get it right....that gets expensive. ( ask me how I know ) I had to read the manual and tell them what to do before they could get it to work

 

its basically the Torque sensor not talking to the EPS controller right Dan? so those 2 CAN items need to be introduced to each other...

 

Basically as far as the car is concerned..there is no functioning power steering unit attached.........

 

Bro care to share how much u paid for the steerin rack as in new ?
