Steel or aluminum headers

Hey I putting togethor a turbo header for my 8 and want to use 304 steel, but its kind of expensive and alluminum wouldnt hurt the wallet as much. Would aluminum be fine to build a header out of or no? Do you guys know any sites for well priced steel.

aluminum is a bad idea for a turbo. you need the steel, thats why kits arent cheap cuz good kits dont skimp on materials

if you have little to no welding and pipe bending experience, i would just buy a header specifically made for the 8 instead of trying to make one. stainless is the way to go. aluminum would not hold up to the heat.
