valentine one DIY without homelink

I have found many DIY's about how to hardwire the valentine one radar trough the rx8 headliner. But the problem is I don't have the homelink rear-view mirror. I am not sure if there is a DIY out there for it, but if there is can someone post the link? If not, or if you have done this or can offer any help I would appreciate it!
