Unhappy Ssv solenoid valve

Hi All:
Happy New Year. I have a P0661 Code which is the SSV Solenoid Circuit Low on 2.

Can anybody explain this to me pls??

Also, where can I find this solenoid valve to replace? Dealer only? any other ideas?
Appreciate your feedbacks.
Tks

The SSV is the front vacuum pod on the lower intake manifold, look near the Air injection pump and thermostat housing.

Make sure the vacuum line is connected, doesn't leak and that the vacuum pod works.
The vacuum hose from the SSV should be connected to the vacuum reservoir/solenoid under the plastic intake.

The best way to search this forum:

We have a Search button, and a Search function for the board, but it isn't very good. It removes words that it sees as common or too short, but are a critical part of the search. It doesn't allow for search by relevancy, as in real relevancy. You mostly have to do alot of hunting and pecking in the search results to come up with what you might be looking for.

Add the two above issues together, and you can easily take all day to find only bad information.
But I have good news! You can improve your results and search speed by up to 15% by switching to Google!

As in Google.com.

Go to Google.com, and in the search box, type: site:rx8club.com
Then a space.
Then start typing what you are looking for.

Like this:
RX8Club.com search via Google
Your Google search results will be ONLY from this forum, and it will use all the power and intelligence of the best search engine in the world.
try searching this way, you will get better results.
I have a thread on this issue. you should have no probelm finding it if you use the above and search the code.
