Any gaskets need to be replaced when cleanning the SSV? I searched and watched the vids and it seems the only parts needed is Coolant. I'm guessing the thermostat housing has no gasket, O-ring? update: gonna replace the thermostat since there.
Cleanning the Eccentric Shaft Sensor so why not since half way there.

The gasket is usually re-usable..it is a metal rubber gasket

You should only need coolant...and the thermostat is a good idea if you have it all apart anyway. Thermostat should come with the gasket( it is a rubber seal on the thermostat circumference)...if not you need one as well.
