Speakers Blasting at Start Up
Well, here's a new one to me, but I don't know if this is one of those things that is perhaps common to the car.
Two days earlier this week (which happened to be well below freezing overnight, for what that's worth), on the first startup of the day I have had absolutely screaming static-sounding noise coming out of the speakers for a second or two. Doesn't matter whether the radio is actually on or off and pushing the radio button doesn't matter, and it just lasts a couple of seconds but the volume is incredible and I can't believe it's not going to blow the speakers if it keeps up.
On Christmas Eve at 50 degrees it did not happen.
It only happens on the first start of the day. Audio is otherwise fine. Car is an '05 GT with Bose.
Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!
