Good to hear!

How are you managing with the smell since the de-cat? My cat was failing when I replaced my engine -- presently de-catted but hating the smell and planning to go with a TurboXS catted setup. I don't understand why this car smells so much worse than even my FD when it was de-catted, unless I've just become less tolerant with age. I initially thought it may be a tuning issue, but the trims are all reasonable and the WBo2 and MAF sensors appear responsive and to give expected output for an otherwise stock RENESIS.

I really haven’t noticed too much of a bad smell at all. I’m just happy I got my car back and it runs great. Those Hitachi coils are great.

Glad we could help man! I hate wasting money and everyone always goes to a rebuild. When it started hot at the flick of a wrist, I had a feeling it wasn't a compression issue. When it comes time for a rebuild though, I will be here.
