OEM wires are fine. But if you wanted to get aftermarket spark plug wires i would get either
Moroso Spark Plug Wire Set rrom http://raceroots.com/index.php/produ...-wire-set.html or MSD Plug Wires from http://blackhaloracing.com/products-...d-plug-wires3/

Sorry for the one month zombie thread, but would you use stock plugs for turbo applications, as well?

^ From my research "colder" RX-7 type 'plugs are advantageous in FI applications. I'm sure the experts here will better advise.

I've been using BUR-9EQ's (the plug from the Turbo II) but that's only because the previous owner used them... to be honest, I never researched it on my own (yes, my bad... whoops)

I have used these same plugs for the almost 3 years my 8 has been boosted. never had issues, just the electrode wears quick.

Colder plugs (something higher than 7) 9,10,11 are the standard for boosted applications.

Speaking of plugs , I notice the owner's guide lists 2 specs for plug sets. What is the difference?

I searched, and I wasn't able to find any relevant information. Found the cool info about how different plugs fit, etc, but nothing I could find that specifically said "BUR-9EQ's are better for FI"

One is a hotter plug than standard. I am using them during winter to help keep my plugs from fouling. During the summer the regular plugs are tan, but when I checked them this winter with the fouling they were black. Wtih the hotter plugs I am back to tan. I plan to alternate by season.

Yes, I run my car up to temp nearly every time i drive it and yes, I run it up to 8500 rpm a couple of times each trip.
