Ray I'm not one to doubt you but ....
I'm looking at the NGK website right now and they recommend .048"

Is .044" your recommendation?

I stand corrected. I was thinking about the gap one should use in power-added applications with the stock coils. Thanks Scott. BTW, those .044 and .040 gaps will soon be rendered obsolete for a lot less money.

Ray I just happen to have a set of 10.5s in my toolbox.
Any harm in running them NA under my current setup?
Should you change the gap with a cooler plug?

<just curious>

fyi

I checked Schuck's Auto Supply (part of advanced auto) on the way home and they could only order the trailing plugs for $40 per. They can not order the leading plugs. And they will not match online prices from the main web site.

Scott, stick with the 7s and 9s if you are still just using the 55 shot. 10.5s are probably too cold to run well in your climate and with only the 55. F/I is a slightly different story. Gaps are dependent on housing pressures and the coil's ability to arc the gap, not plug temp.

Yes but the quickest way to do it is to buddy up with somebody and order two sets together. The reason is that NGK ships them 4 to a box so I would have to receive, re-box, and then ship them. By doubling up everybody wins. Otherwise, it'll be a few more days with all the handling.
