ive been having this problem for several weeks now, when im driving (and only when im driving...i dont experience the problem when im stoped) it sounds like a cricket noise is comming from the area of my radio unit (where you put the cd and the volume control). when i apply pressure to the area just under the cd player it subsides for a brief moment, then when i let go it returns. also, this is happening all of the time whether or not i have a cd in the player and whether or not the radio is on or not. it is more prevelent at night with the everything on (lights, a/c, radio)....what is going on?? its driving my nuts when im in the car driving!

 

I had my CD player replaced in my old 8 when it went out. I think they broke something thats why it would make that sound. Take your 8 to the dealer and have them fix it. Should not be that hard for them to fix.
I would just turn the radio up lol

 

Use some duck tape to hold it down into place that seems like it always works. Mind you will have duct tape showing your car if you go my route. But I would recommend going to a dealer because they would fix something along those lines.

 

Some Raid should work.
