car turned off in the middle of driving it..Help!!

So I was driving along the road and wanted to go faster. I pushed on the accelerator and the car died on me. Electrically, everything was fine(everything was still on), but the car was no running. I originally thought my spark plugs were so fouled, they weren't able to light the fuel, but I'm changed them and my car still won't start. It sounds like it's either not fire or the fuel is not igniting. The starter turns the motor, but it just won't kick over.

I'm still learning all I can about car engines, so I'm still a newbie, but anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong? I'm going to get it towed to a mechanic to fix it, but I don't want them to try and screw me over.

I just purchesed the car used, with 36k mi on it. It has a greddy bolt on turbo and blue emanage with a borla exhaust.

Then buying a used 8 with a turbo was about the worst thing you could have done. Prepare to bend over and open your wallet. You might be lucky and find its a blown fuse but with the turbo your limited as to who can fix the car. I doubt the dealer will even look at it so search for a tuner shop that might have done a greddy install in the past.

Was it tuned properly ? Im talking about *after* you got the car.

but I doubt that, so get ready for a new motor, and please search for MazdaManiac's Greddy Turbo fix.

it was tuned before I got it, but I needed to get it retuned for my area. car came from florida and ran great there, but here in texas, wasn't running so good. I was planing on taking it to a tuner in houston before it died on me. I already did MM greddy fixes.

thanks for the input. Any other ideas/opinions would be appreciated.
