Here's a short video of the prototype. It is very sensitive and needs a lot of tweaks before it can be useable but it has already given me some interesting data.

Most of the time the engine stays in a predictable range regardless of load. I can see sudden spikes when rapidly accelerating under load that almost instantly disappear and appear to be knock control doing it's job. While at a constant or near constant load levels are very low regardless of load. Oh and more knock happens revving at idle than anywhere else.

Now for the non predictable stuff. After around 5k rpm it takes off. Indicated knock goes through the roof, and I believe it's the real deal. I'll take some more recordings with the knock light in place and try to figure out for sure.

Oh and the knock light can kill the engine instantly at any value I set. No sputter or anything, just dies. I just didn't have that wire connected in the video because I'm still figuring out resistance values to make it safe.

More parts are on order for a better constructed prototype.
