Unhappy Slow start on the corner

Ok so bought the 8 a while back. and since then i have a feeling it does not leave the corner as fast as my old Rx8. The car was sitting in a garage for winter so dont know if it need a carburator clean up. When i leave the corner the car seems to jerk a bit then get a boost of power. Coudl use a few tips on what might be causing this. Was thinking about changing the spark plugs & wire plugs and then then coils. Anyhow hit me up with info Just seems like the car dies out on the corner.

....Yeah.... You should uh, clean that carburetor of yours....

Then get a compression test, BHR coils, wires and plugs. Then go redline your car a few times.

To start with, you should probably clean the MAF sensor. It is next to the carb.

1) open hood (it shouldn't look like this)

2) If it does look like that though, remove the carburetor so it looks like this...

3) Throw carb in garbage.

4) Hang your head in shame.

5) Read the **** up; carburetors, for the most part, haven't been used i cars since the 1980s.

6)THEN READ THIS
