I just picked up my 2004 RX-8 on Wednesday. I have a funny noise coming from the car but thought i was hearing things. Today i was driving again and i heard what i can best discribe as a slinky (remember those twisted metal coil that go down the stairs) coming from the car as i changed from 1st to 2nd 7500RPM and again from 2nd to 3rd....Has anyone else had this problem...my car only has 100km on it.

 

I DO!!!!! but i don't know what casue it or can it be fixed, i'm also waiting for response.

 

Maybe what you are hearing is the air buble in the cooling system.
