just added the shock sensor alrm thing at the dealer...now is there supposed to be a flashing red light in the interior when its turned on?

 

No, no visual indication that we have the sensor installed.

Have you tested the shock sensor to see if the alarm goes off when you pound on the car? The easiest test I could come up with was to make a fist and smack one of my tire with the bottom of my hand.

Hopefully they gave you the sensor install instructions describing how to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor, otherwise you should be able to find them on the DIY forum.
