Sharp exit ramp=dash lights?

Today I took an exit ramp off the highway that was a pretty sharp turn. I wasn't really going all that fast, just enough to have some fun and when it ended I looked at my dash and the E-brake, traction, and ABS lights were lit up. I drove for a mile or so then stopped and turned the car off. I started it back up and the lights had cleared and I had no other problems. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this occur and what might have caused it.

I know I lost traction, but usually when it happens the traction light illuminates for a sec. then goes away. This time the 3 lights were lit up and stayed that way for about 5 minutes until I shut the car down.

happened to me once. no noticeable difference at all in the way the car drives and hasnt happened since and havent had any problems since it happened.

and no it wasnt just the traction control telling you your wheels are losing traction, my lights stayed on up until i restarted the car.

so you have no answer but reject my possible solution (loss of traction) without reason? At least give me more details so i can understand what youve done to decide i was wrong, then i can go from there as the more diagnostic info the more likely we get it right.

not trying to sound rude or anything honestly, im just sayin.

We know that we lost traction, but this was different. Not only did the traction light come on and stay on, but the e-brake and ABS lights also. Just a little weird. I know alot of ppl track their cars alot, so they must be losing traction here and there correct? Has anyone else had this happen in this case?

the only reason i know its not just due to losing traction is because ive seen the flashing light that occurs when you lose traction and this was different. the lights stayed on.

I had this happen to me...exact situation. For me, it started happening on a daily basis with the 3 lights. I had my winter tires on and I bought them used and didn't look too closely at them. Turns out 2 were 235/45/18 and 2 were 245/45/18. When I just put my summer tires on (all the same size, I made sure I checked) all the lights stopped coming on. So check that all 4 tires are the same and even possibly have the same amount of wear on each tire. Hope that helps.

Also like stated earlier, check your battery posts. Mine were loose I tightened them and the lights still came on. so check both of those. Hope that helps

I did have winters on the rear and not on the front, but they were all they same size. Idk, maybe that was the cause but I don't see why. I just put 4 brand new Kumho Ecsta SPT 225/45/18's on yesterday so...

This happened to me when I had a cracked rim. I had put a smaller width rim in place of the cracked one as a replacement for about 2 weeks and those 3 lights + DSC/TCS lights all lit up at highway speeds, numerous times.

I'm not saying one of your rims is cracked, but I'm not saying they aren't either. Check anyways just to be safe. The lights haven't showed up since I got my new rim put on.

I'm still not sure what exactly causes these lights.

Kevin - Correct me if I am wrong here. But I thought that the Traction Control light flashed when it was compensating. However, if it is constantly compensating it stays lit to alert you of the problem. If the traction control is constantly working your car might think that ABS is working as well causing the light to come on.

i think it depends on the time length of compensation that makes it stay solid. could be wrong, easily.
