Shaky?

I took my 8 to a shop a couple days because my breaks were squeaking and just sounded unpleasant and they tell me the rotors are just rusting theres nothing i can do about it but by new rotors so i was kinda bummed but now i notice if i go 55+ miles per hour in 5th my steering wheel shakes a good amount. is this normal? has anyone experienced this as well?

Try getting your tires balanced, see if that helps. Check front end parts, tie rods and the like. Rust on rotors will not cause what you describe. The rust should come off after applying the brakes a few times. Unless the rotors are out of spec (too thin checked with a micrometer), they are probably fine.

Did the shaking start after you had the brakes checked?
if so,
Do you have aftermarket wheels?
if so,
Do you have hub centric rings installed?
