Series 2 Front lower control arm?

Does anyone know if the front lower control arms from the series 2 rx8 will fit a series 1. Basically sounds like my front right ball joint is taking a **** on me and I wanna replace the whole arm soon. Found a series 2 LCA for a decent price barely used just wondering if its compatible since I know the LCA's for the series 2 apparently changed over.

Have a pic? Thought they where the same. Also ball joints are not serviceable only choice is to replace the arm.

Lower Control A Arm? Nope, COMPLETELY different part number

F151-34-300B
F151-34-350B

F189-34-300A
F189-34-350A

Don't believe whatever you see on the internet, ESPECIALLY Ebay.

Different part number does not always mean different, lower control arm bushings and front coil over control arm bushing are the same between the 8 and the Miata but they have different P/N as well.

they change it for a reason, don't forget this isn't a Rx8/miata difference, it's basically same car.

as for bushing, you never know why they have different part numbers, maybe the material is different? you can't tell by naked eye.

I mean you can use it if you want, but really, why cheap on an important part like this ?

Its a grey area, I honestly have no idea. I cannot see how or why it would change, besides stiffer components I was never aware of any chassis modifications between the S1 and S2.

Yeah thats the same control arm I found. It looks exactly the same I can't see any difference between that and the Series 1. I cant see it being a downgrade in any way replacing the Series 1 LCA. Contemplating ordering still.

It bolts on, you won't know the difference

Mazda slightly modified the rear suspension geometry on the S2, this is why the rear subframe is different.
