Searched but can't find specific

I keep finding the info but can't specifically find how to check my current flash? You step on the break 20 times? While the car is on or off? The needle will swim..does the needle swim ONLY for the M flash and if not how can I tell teh differance? Please, someone help..

click IGN to ON

TAP the brake 20+ times

If you are L or greater, the ECU will clear it's fuel trim settings and the oil needle will sweep.

to distinguish between L and M, you'll need to look for a decal

You have to tap in rapid succession. I tapped it very quickly until I saw the needle sweep (but my foot probably tapped a couple more times). Just tap quickly in rapid succession until it sweeps.

...what they said, above.

If the needle sweeps you have L or M. If there is no sticker, there is no way for you to determine it. It'll have to go on the computer at the dealer and they would tell you.
