^ maybe in PR but the average mechanic doing labor on the 8 charges a lot. Before I did my brakes myself, I called around asking a estimate on a brake change. Front n back with provided hardware. I got ranges from 400-700. I 'd. \
Plus we dont even know where he is from to recommend a shop.

Huge hole is huge
Hey guys, come on. He can do this. He can probably custom make all of the parts himself. He'll custom make the Turbo's and the engine, so he's already saved a bunch of money! YOU CAN DO IT!

Wow, just lock this one... I think the OP needs a REALITY check! This is a joke right? In all seriousness, if you are planning on paying someone else to build this then having $20,000 to START will really help.
$4,000= Coilovers/Wheels including labor for those without the 'KNOW HOW'.

Cuz last winter it was dead cold (like 20s) and I need a brake pad change, I don't feel like freezing my *** off so I bought pads and took them to the local shop, they changed all 4 of them for me for around 80 bux. there is nothing special about Rx-8's brake system, its still just remove one bolt, slide the caliper over, take the pads out, grease the new clips, put new clips/pads in, secure bolt. bam !
rx-8's brake disc ain't that expensive. I can get all 4 disc under 250 bux. pads another 50.
