I havent driven my rx8 in about a year and a half. I brought it in for a tune up and new spark plugs and it ran me $500. Some how I feel like I'm getting hosed. Can anyone tell me what a tune up consist of for a rx8 and price range they got. thanks

 

You did get hosed, what did the invoice say was done? But most dealers charge about $100/hr labor. The plugs go for about $100 from the dealer, what else did they do?

 

spark plugs/wires/ coils....thats only if they are bad, you might need a new battery....
battery ~ 100$
spark plugs~80-90$
coils- ~25$ a pc. might need 4
oil change -~25$

 

they havent finished yet. I was told by them that the plugs ran $60 each for the 2 trail and 2 lead. They were doing a oil change and changing the filters also. they told me the labor was $90 a hour.
