no. It wouldn't be worth the money to do so--cause if I'm not mistaken the 0-60 time of the 4-port 5spd is only what .5 s off that of the 6-port (if that). You'd have to swap trannies and engines. It be more cost efficient to boost it with the Re Amemiya kit or Greddy.

the only way you could 'convert' it to a 6port would be to get new rotor housing, and intake tract, then ecu....ect ect....would be easyer to just swap the motor. But for the price of the motor swap and all, like dre said, you would be better off just getting a turbo kit for the 4port....give you a lot more 40hp. For around the same cost.

it seam to be that only with turbo kit this can be done. do you know if the existing turbo kits for RX8 work with the 4-port engine?

The Greddy kit will work too--there is a Greddy Turboed A/T roaming around. He's getting to 60 in low 6 seconds--so if you have the 5spd then you should better the 6-port times easily.

While not the greatest option, installing a greddy turbo on a 4 port will easily yield 6 port power if not a little more. It would be cheaper to go with a forced induction kit whether turbo or supercharger than doing a motor swap.

Nitrous will also get you close or on top of 6 port power as well.

I have a European Specs Low Power 192HP 5 speed manual.

We have performed some dynos and the 192HP is a difficult number to see.

How you ever performed a dyno to see if you have 210HP?

here we got only one Euro spec 6 speed which is 184.5hp and Japan spec 6 speed, where the highest only 185.5hp, both were dyno without any mod, bone stock.. i think the hp 210/250 rates just on the paper.. its hard to get 2++hp unless with some mods or FI if i recall one of the members here dynoed his 6 speed ride with Greedy turbo kit 288.1hp
