Ouch, Sorry to hear about your 8, from the pics it looks like it used to be clean. I came close to crashing due to rain/crazy AZ drivers on friday. It makes me happy that the car did its job. I get so nervous when I ride my motorcyle here in AZ that lately I have been driving, no matter how nice it is.
Glad to hear you are ok!

Hey, Tex, did you get an itemized estimate? If so, did you glance through it to see if they'd left out anything obvious?
I probably have the line item $10,000+ cost estimate from my deer-impact around here somewhere, we could compare some details.
If you were to type up or scan in the estimate I'm sure there's several knowledgeable people here who could offer advice (heck, there's probably 10 people reading this would could type a better estimate off the pictures than your dip appraiser did so far).

Cool-Blue, sure can. I'm having two seperate estimates faxed to me tommorow, one from the dealer, and one from the adjuster.
Oh and I couldn't even get the adjuster to take pics, I had to drive down to the shop to take the pics..
I'll post back with the details.

Original Turbo 'd Auto !!
Good to here that you are fine. I never like driving in the rain here in Az. They just don't know how to drive in the rain.
Anyway I noticed that you have an auto. Did you get the TCS and Stability control?
