RX-8 Problems need HELP!!!

Before I begin... I tried searching for my issue and found nothing.

I was driving down the Autobahn going about 185km (stationed in Germany) and suddenly thick white smoke began pouring out of the exhaust. When I saw it I stopped accelerating. When I touchrd the gas pedal more cam out. So I began to cruise at a low speed where no smoke was visible. I pulled over and revved it to 5 and the smoke came out again. I continued to my destination (about 3min) and parked it. About 5 hours later I started the 8 back up and the idle was throaty and rough but still around 1.5rpm (its cold) but now smoking lightly in idle. So I left it there. THe oil pressure and and engine temp were fine. The smoke smelled like it was burning oil. It better not be a blown seal because I will be an ex-RX-8 owner. They won't honor my warranty over here.

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THEY THINK IS WRONG.

Worst case it's Coolant mixing with oil => New Motor.
Best case bad plugs / too much oil as in this thread https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discussion-3/uncle-buck-thick-white-smoke-exhaust-67109/

It's hard to say but it doesn't sound good. Could very well be a blown seal. That's what it sounds like.

Just have it checked out and see what the diagnosis is. Decide from there.

Good luck.

Seen it here heaps of times. Most likely problem is the sump has been overfilled with oil.

Have you topped up the oil recently?? Had a service in the last week or so??

If overfilling is the cause of your problem, then lowering the oil level will solve the problem with no long term side effects.

Good Luck.

Update

I hope you are right Gomez. I put oil in on Wednesday but the problem didn't occur until Saturday. But I would rather it be an issue of too much oil than a blown seal. Unfortunately I'm over here in Germany the dealership has had it all day and can tell me nothing. The have called Mazda tech info and have more tests to do tomorrow. So far they have only said it's something with the motor. "there's something I didin't know"
