when the engine warms up...it goes away? Also, w/ the coolant in the engine thing, does it go away or always stay there?
I had a second opionion look at it and we both think the smoke looks white, and kind of evaporates as it gets in the air...
When I start the car it is just coming out of the exhaust at a decent pace, but when I rev it up, big puffs of it come out...

Ok, just put a new borla exhaust and RP supercat on like...2 weeks ago..
But, I think you may have been right about the smoke...i took the car up the road a couple of times just now and everything is perfect again..
Idk what was going on,but I'm guessing cleaning the MAF or the plug wires, or topping off the coolant fixed it.
Seems strange, because after I did all of that stuff it was still running bad for a bit but now it came out of it and I took 3 or 4 passes up my road...running strong as ever

I checked the connections...all seem to be good. Still confuses me, drove the car all night not a single problem.
I changed the plugs last week and they looked like crap... dont know if they got thrown away...if i can find them ill post a pic.

I had white smoke coming heavily out of my exhaust tonight after a 4-5 second hold in first gear at low throttle at 6-7k rpm... then went WOT. Rpm meter bounced around in a 1000k rpm area and there was a huge loss of power. This has happened before maybe 8 or 9 months ago. Any ideas?

Mazda replaced all 4 plugs/wires and coils about 3000 miles ago. I daily drive about 8 miles to work and then fairly shorts trips otherwise. I redline as much as possible after she's warm. I use 93 octane all the time and it's never been flooded as long as i've been the owner.. almost 2 years. I have a theory, although I dont have much mechanical knowledge, that after going low throttle in high rpm for a few seconds excess oil and fuel can remain in the engine.. and then when suddenly going to high or wide open throttle it can't burn it all correctly and it comes out as all the smoke.
