Hey everyone, I am not that familiar with engine parts so I thought id ask you all. I have some spare cash and I was looking to do some up keeping to my car. Like changing out the spark plugs and stuff, maybe using somthing flush the engine to get gunk out. I also heard the factory wiring is cheap on the Rx8 so im looking to replace those. Last time I was at Mazda was at 20,000 miles now im at 32k and have only done oil changes. Let me know any of your thought it would help alot. Thanks.

Thanks laythor, do you suggest a aftermarket sparkplug or just factory, and which of the two, zoom zoom or seafoam do you think is best and where can I buy them?

Stick with the OEM spark plugs, seafoam or zoom zoom is fine, seafoam is cheaper and can be purchased at any local auto parts store. Zoom zoom cleaner can be purchased from finishlineperformance.com for about $20 afaik

Alright, and is seafoam the same thing as putting stuff into your gas tank to get out slug. I was also looking into a catch can /breather. Good idea? They sure look cool what are they used for exactly. Thanks
