RETURNING THE RX8....

I currently bought an RX8 and found out that the engine is not it promises its going to be. I was a little fustrated when I saw the Dyno results. Getting 17 mpg and having only 180 hp is not acceptable for myself, if I do want to return my RX8 do you have any ideas on how to do that?

 

Not sure when you bought it. If you're eligible for the buyback, you should get a letter. If you bought after the cutoff (the Tuesday after the announcement, if I remember correctly), you're SOL for that. And since the difference is less than 5%, I don't think you can get Mazda for false advertising. However, you might be able to talk to the dealership if they were supposed to tell you about the changed stats and didn't.

 

Well, when did you buy your RX-8? If you just bought it last week, it might be too late for you to return.
