Rethinking the Garage

By garage I mean your actual garage for your 8.

This question is probably for those of us in the desert southwest US, who are going to get August temperatures soon. The problem I see is heat being dumped by the fan after parking your car in the garage and shutting off the ignition.

My car lately has been going for something like half an hour before the fan stops, and its kind of a pain in the *** to keep checking the garage to see when I can close the door, because otherwise I suspect the fan might go indefinitely, trying to cool itself.

So I wanted to ask you guys, is there any way to get all Tim Allen on the garage (Tim Allen's character rather, not so much the felon), maybe by passively venting it somehow. What would be the best way to do it? (Other than piping A/C to the garage)

I have a large fan i purchased at Home Depot. I just turn it on for 15mins pointing toward my car and outside. It cools things off real good
