Idemitsu Racing Rotary Fuel Lube (Premix) - Synthetic Blend

Inherently with many rotary engines, the entirety of the rotor and housing are not being sufficiently lubricated, resulting in premature wear or damage. In order to increase lubrication within the engine, Idemitsu developed Idemitsu Rotary Premix. At 1/2 oz per gallon of fuel, it is a cost effective way lubricate more of your engine and prevent premature catastrophic damage.

A special blend of base oils reduces deposits and subsequent exhaust port clogging. As a result, your rotary will maintain the power at which it was designed. Special detergent/dispersant additives keep your fuel injectors clean to reduce maintenance. Provides additional lubrication for apex and side seals to increase seal life and increase efficiency of engine. Special additives allow for better sealing of the chamber, creating greater efficiency and more power.

It is putting oil into your gas tank like you would with a 2 cycle motor. Do not use the oil in your engine, there is specific stuff you buy that is called premix. Search premix and you will find endless threads on this. some say do, some say dont. Its a personal opinion.

The second sticky post in the very same forum you posted is is devoted to this subject.

The simple answer is if you have an 2004-2008 and plan on keeping the car a long time you should premix ( mix a certain type of oil with your fuel ). The details can be found it the above mentioned thread. I use 4oz of Idemitsu per 13 gallons of gas.

Mazda realized there wasn't enough oil being added to the center of the rotors and added a third nozzle. That doesn't help us 04-08 owners which is why many premix. 2009 RX-8 have a better system of adding oil to the engine than older RX-8's. They only way we can make up for the lack of the 3rd nozzle is premixing.

You have less of a reason to pre-mix than we do. But I would still do it, more positives than negatives.
