I might go here, just to find the ones you are after, but wouldn't buy from there if just screws and bolts.

http://www.jimellismazdaparts.com/default.aspx

Any autoparts store would have what you are after, just need to know the size.

Might wanna try here as well................again, just to obtain sizes.

http://onlinemazdaparts.com/

Or use the search to identify links to the online manuals which will also show sizes for which ones you are after.

More than likely, if you get 10mm, 12mm, 14mm that will get you about 75% of what you are looking for. Autoparts stores will have groups of these in varying lengths. Just buy a pack that contains a crapload.

Home depot also has a very good selection of bolts and screws in every pitch and size you can think of. I have found many bolts there for my cars, like the ones I used installing the midpipe.

Just order them from Tommy (1-888-483-0643) at finishlineperformance.com. OEM Mazda bolts and screws cost next to nothing.

What bolts and screws do you actually want?..

From a OEM Spare Parts point of view, all bolts, nuts and washers are listed in Mazda EPC separately, naturally there are many 100's.

I have a considerable labeled Mazda OE private collection of nuts, bolts, screws.(around 150)

Be careful about "Home Depot" stuff, depending on where the bolt or nut or stud goes it could be high tensile, heat treated, corrosion treated, now these are not cheap, anything up to $8.00 each from Mazda....particularly Engine area and or Chassis or Suspension/Brakes.

That is true, I have just found random bolts needed there like when my MAF got stripped, buying a screw from home depot was fine. When I put on my midpipe I also went with home depot bolts since it didn't come with the stuff needed to mount it. Only time will tell how those will work on the exhaust though lol.

In this particular instance you are correct, but for example, if you are replacing a caliper bracket bolt, you do NOT want any old standard home depot bolt. You must make sure it is a Grade 8 bolt (which, home depot does in fact sell).

The only annoying part about home depot bolts is finding the exact length you need. Yes you could just cut the bolt, but at that point I would just order the Mazda one.

If it's anything important that gets heat cycled do not use hardware store bolts. Ever.

As for Mazda bolts costing next to nothing For example, Price out the 8mm bolts that hold the APV's on. They are $15.00 each and you will find nothing like them anywhere else.

Yep and for studs and nuts its the same. Finding high strength (10.9) metric nuts and studs is next to impossible at most local suppliers as most are 8.8 (grade 5). Heck even Fastenal (huge commercial fastener chain) had to special order studs and nuts for me. Now for normal things like holding the ECU cover on, ground straps, etc. hardware bolt should be fine but anything that see a load and heat needs to be strong and properly heat treated. I did find that NAPA can order heat treated 10.9 rated nuts and bolts but the prices are crazy.

During my build I decided to replace everything with an ARP fasteners but then after I added everything up I realized it would cost as much as my Turbo did

well, I should say for "normal" use HD/Department stores bolts are fine.

even special bolts, you don't need to get them from Mazda, there are so many online stores that sells "specility" bolts for cheap. some of them just charge 50 cents for shipping via USPS.
