stop flooding ur engines
i seen some runnin 100k and others dead at 10k man its way too early to call a general "most run on average..." score
this is comin froma guy whos at 30k and comp is at low 7s so im next for an engine.....and rebuild? nah man we ship em out and get remans baby!

I expect my engine to outlast nycgps's NA motor with FI since I can more efficiently clean out carbon deposits than he can - and at lower RPMs.
So if he says 200k, I say mine will do 2,000k.

The renesis is good for, on average, 8,000 miles. nycgps did some voodoo magic to keep his alive for this long. That's why I swapped mine out for a v-tec. More power, and lasts longer!

Come now, you can't join a forum and NOT expect to be harassed! Your first question is actually something that you can easily find by using the "search" function. Nice forum members answered your question, no big deal. However, when you continue asking things that can very easily be found by searching, thus asking other forum members to do your thinking for you, you're going to get flamed.

Stuck in a love triangle
From this point, if I make it to 80k (which should be towards the end of 2010) without any major/costly problems I'll be one happy sonuvabitch. It's easy right now to say that I'll keep it forever, but a lot can change in 3 years.

ps...thanks for thread crapping...i'm sure theres some sort of a rule against that...also...the only way i can get the search to give me any kind of accurate results is to go and select advance search and then search "thread titles" or somethin like that...i am soo sorry it took me a minute to figure out how to actually get good results from the search feature...PLEASE excuse my ignorance

Fine.
100K miles ?
Well, Scientist said that a new born baby's life expectancy is around 250 years. Yep, 250 years.
but, who can live that long? why not? cuz there are ALOT of unpredictable factor will affect the new born's life. Like food we eat, places we go, people we meet, air we breath, accidents, natural born defects, etc
Same thing for the engine. quite a few people on this forum past the 100K mark already, and there is a recent post about someone got 192K out of their original engine. There're also some people's engine die within the 10K miles.
There is not enough data right now to say how long can we expect outa the Renesis engine. Give it another few more years then we will know
