Although this is not new and has been seen before, I thought I would share it here for members wanting to learn more about their RENESIS Rotary Engine.

This 'training material' was developed by Mazda NAO in USA for it's Dealer Network,
a 75 page 6.52 MB file in PDF with some Q&A's.

While the fundamentals are the same please remember this is for the Renesis I Rotary used in Series 1 RX-8's (MY2004-2008).
It does not include the updates in Series 2 (Renesis II) like the different Oil Pump, Oil Filter, Fuel Injectors, Oil Injectors, and the two Electronic Metering Oil Pumps, etc..

Weird that they used diagrams from older rotaries for the cooling and oiling.

 

FD or FC diagram for secondary air as well.

Yep ok, there are many errors, but it is a Mazda USA publication done in 2003, the norm for this average distributer (imo).

Time and time errors are reported to them by US Dealers and they are ignored.
