Rebadging! Need some help helpful people

Hey guy's,
So partially because I'm forum-ly inept and I am still learning my way around this form I couldn't find this answer anywhere else. I'm finishing up work on my car most recently a MS spoiler and now my last task is to rebadge my truck. The previous owner debugged it and placed awkward plastic holders in the post holes.

My question is how do I remove these awkward plastic spacers and put in a rear badge? Also, where can I find a post badge on the internet? If it's easier I can just order one from the dealer (with post). The key is I want the post in. And I want it to be cheap.

THANKS FOR THE HELP

ShadowRotor

Pics would help to determine the best way to remove the plastic fillers. I would drill'em out anyway since i am lazy.
You can buy the badges online or from the forum vendors like Mazmart etc. The badges already have the pins so you will just have to position them in the existing holes and double tape\glue them back on.

Yep, best place is probably www.onlinemazdaparts.com or www.finishlineperformance.com if you are in the states. Don't think Mazmart carries them ,but I could be wrong.

Oh sorry. That makes a lot of sense, here are the pictures of the plastic fillers in the holes. I don't just want to yank them out and pull out my trunk as well.

And I did find a badge I'll be ordering it tomorrow.

My guess would be a flat screwdriver. It looks like they'll pop off, oh yea and don't forget to wrap it with some tape. Metal on paint is never good

So, like just wrap the tape around the screwdriver, shove it under the caps and pull it out? I really don't wan to scratch it, and I refuse to pay to get a new badge installed.

Eww gross...

Why would one want these on there in place of a Mazda badge? It looks less clean.

That's why I'd rather have the Mazda Badge. I'm thinking about painting it flat black and replacing these with that. My only reservation is that I'm not sure one flat black M would clash with my car.

Black emblems on a black car? Might as well not even have em and just fill in the holes lol. What I plan on doing is just leaving the M on and taking the left and right badges off then fill em like this

They either use some filler or weld the hole shut... and repaint the part

I was looking at the rotary emblem that you have as well. Looks good on your car Juansito.

I bet, I have a couple questions for you though,

Is the Renesis badge a whole badge or did you use the individual adhesive letters to spell it and did you do it yourself? If so what did you do with the holes from the old badges? I'm planning on doing the same thing, same badge but Shadow instead of renesis (that's my car's name). But I don't wont to send it to a shop, I just got her back

He has a thread here somewhere, im pretty sure its individual letters and he strategically placed the letters to cover the holes I believe.

All the information you need is in this topic.

I wasnt the first one to do this -- i got the idea from bruce that did it first -- and yes it does cover up the holes
