RE8A-L NGK plug

Hi,

I like to change the spark plugs with those ones : NGK RE8A-L (from canzoomer)

they are colder ...


could you give me the interessest for the rx8 the benefit
any danger ???

I would not go with a colder plug as the car runs pig rich.

Colder plugs will cause more fouling and harder starting, maybe even flood the car.

I would not run the colder plugs unless you have a good reason to.

Mazda revised the regular leading plugs with a better design at the stock heat range. There is a TSB on finishlineperformance.com that details the part numbers.

If you are changing your plugs for the first time, you want to get the newer plug set. Someone had a group buy on the set for like $90, which is a good deal.
