When do the radiator fans turn on? Does one run continuous and the other off a thermostatic switch? Do they both run off a thermostat?

Reason i'm asking is because the last time i started my car, i noticed that neither fan was running after i started it. i wasn't able to let it run to let it warm up for me to check the fans due to other problems. I have a set of aftermarket fans wired in.

 

They are controlled by the ECU, you might want to the relay though. Do you still have a Cobb tune installed? they won't be running unless it's up to temp. Did you try the AC?

The car didn't warm up long enough and my AC system is depressurized. That answers my question though. they probably work i just didn't see them run and just a little worried.
