Questions regarding BHR Ignition System Install

I'm installing the BHR ignition system in my 2009 R3, but I seem to be encountering more problems than I was expecting based on everyone else's posts on how easy the installation is. Perhaps its just me being overly paranoids?

1) The 4th (far back) ignition coil connector does not give you that satisfying SNAP feeling/sound when I plug it into the BHR system. The other 3 gave me the snap and locked in place, but the 4th won't snap (no matter how hard I push it in) and because of this, I can easily pull it back out again (never locks in). I'm not sure as to why this is happening, but it appears that the 4th Mazda ignition coil connector may be broken? Is this something I should worry about/get replaced? I can't even begin to see where these wires lead to so I doubt its a job that I could do.

2) The position of the ignition coil connectors - is there any specific positions they need to be in? I've looked up pictures and everyone just has them haphazardly positioned in there in whatever way fits. Should I be concerned with them being too close to something hot and potentially melting them?

3) Clearance. I know the kit is a tight fit, and I am able to get it onto the OEM mounting plate, but it is not physically possible to attach the spark plug wires to the ends if the coils are installed. The ONLY way to get the spark plug wires on is to attach them to the coils BEFORE mounting the coils in the car. Is this normal? The instructions don't make any indication as to if this is normal. I'm guessing the spark plug wires are not good for the life of the car, which would mean (if this is normal) that the ignition coils need to be removed every time the spark plug wires are changed? I've done everything I can think of in order to gain clearance but there just isn't enough room.

Thanks for the help, I would contact BHR directly with my questions but I need answers ASAP because I do need to use my car on Monday (its currently Friday afternoon).

EDIT: Spoke with Charles, everything has been taken care of and the kit has been installed without issues. You can count me as one of the many 110% satisfied BHR customers.

Not sure why this thread was moved to the series 1 section but the car is a series 2.

1. Call Ray, you may need a new wire
2. Call Ray, but yeah I paid no attention to mine
3. Call Ray, not normal (atleast on an S1)

Ray will respond just as fast, if not faster, than anyone here.

i also heard another person complain about the wire barely reaching the plugs. they said they were not able to put the wire on the holder so they called bhr and they said its fine to bypass the holder.

does it change if you move that plug/coil to a different place? possible there is some dirt or other in there?

i like to yell, "make the noise! damn you make the noise, i live for the noise!"

ok so I installed the BHR kit today and the rough idle is gone, it runs smoother and response is better. However, the turbo seems to sound louder spooling up. Is that an issue? I put everything back, plugged all the hoses back properly including the intercooler piping and correctly installed the ignition kit but the turbo sounds louder. I love the way it sounds but I didn't expect that to happen so I'm kinda paranoid.
