Question on "L" flash??

My Rx8 has a built date of 01/04...I was wondering if anyone know if it has the latest flash? and whether or not my car will experience flooding...i'm a new rotorhead so i'm learning everything about the Renesis one step at a time...any help would be much appreciated...thanx

Any rotary can flood regardless if it has the latest flash or not. If you have not already found this in several other threads, hm, turn key on without starting car, tap the break pedal 20 times in 8 secs and watch if the oil pressure gauge moves to max, then back. If it does, you have it.

No,January '04 doesn't have the flash.
Go here: http://www.finishlineperformance.com...ocs/index.html
for service bulletin updates.
You'll usually need your vin#,also....
