pulse star plugs

I saw an add for these things while reading a magazine,

they seem like a gimmick with lots of scientific doublespeak, and I know we require special spark plugs, but I wonder if these plugs would help in a rotary?

This has been asked many times they are no good. Use the (NGK)OEM type plugs only. They can be bought for about $15 each and should be replaced at 30-37k miles

Nothing on the site indicated the rotary engine was taken into consideration by the makers of this plug so the point is moot. No listing of the RX-8 or RX-7 in the browse by make & model. Plus all the features seem to be based on using them in a piston motor.

I'm aware that they can't work in the rotary because they don't make the right kind.

What I'm asking is if the technology would help in a rotary over a regular spark plug

dont be fool by marketing material. Just like Nology wires.

if their plugs are so durable and strong and cheap(not really), all OEMs would've use it.

You're being kind. They're blatant bullshit. Right up there with those tin pinwheel things (turbonators?).

lol very nice....
has anyone else heard about those Iridium race plugs? Planing on getting the mazsport ignition and i figured i should get new plugs too... aprox 20k on the car now... starting to get a slight hesitation in the upper rpm range... from what ive heard this is most likely due to the plugs or the coils so im pretty excited to come back from the desert so i can get under the hood... and well under the wheel well too it sees.. lol
anyway.. any info on the iridium plugs would be nice
thanks

well the stock plugs are iridium, so if you get the stock NGK plugs off of sparkplugs.com you should be good

Or Ebay, I got Mazda OE plugs for about 9 bux shipped. Four are 6 heat Range plugs, Two of them are 7.

Hell I still have a whole set of HKS plugs which are 9 Leading and 11 Trailing heat range. Not even sure can I use it without flooding. LOL
