pulley install ?

I'm trying to install my new agency power pulley and am having some dificulty removing the main bolt on the crank pulley. Ive heard people use an impact wrench but I can't for the life of me get it to fit in the area I need to remove the bolt. went to the store to look for a smaller impact wrench and can't find one that would fit with more than like 60ft/lbs what are you guys using for this. Does anyone have some input that can help me out, cause I tried using a torque wrench and that was useless..........oh and what are the torque specs for that bolt?

just installed the pulley today . There are 4 small bolts only to remove - which bolt are you trying to undo ?

did you install the agency power pulley, it has 4 bolts, that removes the upper part of the pulley, but it's 2 pieces, and the agency power one is only one piece that replaces both, the bolt I'm trying to remove is the big one in the middle. or am I mistaken?

if you don't remove that bolt then how do you get the lower pulley off? you'd just be stacking one pulley on top of the other?

The (4) bolts Brettus speaks of allows you to remove both stacked pulleys.

The large center 'bolt' you refer to is part of the crankshaft, so it does not come off. When you look at your Agency pulley, the center hole is the same size as the (2) stock pulleys being removed.

got er done, however I did have one issue and was wondering if others had the same issue. the pulley seems to only be aligned well with 2 of the 4 bolts, so I torqued those down real well, but could not put the other 2 in because they didn't align. Did anyone else notice this. Should I be alright with 2 of the 4 bolts?

you need to align the pulley correctly. if you only have 2 in, then i believe that the pulley needs to be pulled off and rotated either 90, or 180 degrees. i had the same issue.

In the manual the big nut looks to be 13-15 lb/lbs, the 4 smaller nut torque setting is 10-12 lbs per foot.

well, i think it goes something like this. the total intelligence of the population of the planet earth is a constant, neither increasing or decreasing. whereas the population is in constant flux. so as we go along, and the population is increasing, the average person is less and less intelligent.
