Problem - Need help
ok...story behind problem:
my sunvisor on the driver side has been making a clicking noise when moving it back up ever since i got it. Finally i had a close look at it and it is cracked up where it connects to the pivot bar. The other day it cracked and was hanging loose in my way. I decided to go ahead and remove it totally this morning. When i removed the wiring for the vanity light on the mirror, my radio and display (temp, radio, air conditioning function etc..) went off, my engine light came on, and now my car remote doesnt work to lock/unlock doors or trunk!!! I tried to reconnect the mirror light wires and see if things worked again to no avail.
I checked the radio fuse (30amp) and it looks fine. Anyone know if this is just a fuse problem? Which fuse could it be? Something more major?
Im going to be investigating more in a while, but wanted to get some insight. (EDIT: could it be a relay??)
Thanks

Pinhy, look at fuse #4 in the engine compartment fuse box. the BTN fuse. 30 amp
If that's not it check 12 or 14 in the driver's side fuse panel.

thanks ALAN!!
when we checked yesterday, we did the engine but fogot the inside panel. after re-reading this post today, i realized it. went out and looked at the names and the last one in there is called "room" so i checked it and bam...blown!
replaced and everything seems to be working. then i was playing with the loose wires from the sun visor (trying to tape them out of the way better) and got a little spark and the interior lights dimmed for a second....so i see how this happened in the first place (duh)
note to self...be a little more careful when disconnecting wires!!
thanks again alan for the post and PM's. you saved me some dealership embarrasment
