Problem with headlights?

I just noticed that every once in awhile one of my HID headlights just goes out but if I turn them off and on again altogether it come back on and works fine. Anyone else experience this? It's happened a few times already.

Thats not normal. It could be a loose connection. I wouldn't screw with it yourself, take it to the dealer if possible

Yeah, that does sound really weird- definitely not normal. You need to get it to the dealer. I'll bet Mikeb's right, and it's a weird connection.

Well, the cars at the shop and apparently they replaced the entire headlight unit. They told me b/c it is (in their words) "gas charged" the light will light up a different color than my other unit and it will take time for it to "burn correctly." Going to pick it up in an hour...we'll see then.

There is some truth to the light looking different but it shouldn't be real different.
