Unhappy Power window mechanism problem!

Yesterday I had to tear open the door and remove the window (driver side) due to a broken spring in the latch https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ht=driver+door

Problem is after removing the window, the mechanism popped and the wires got loose... What is the proper way to put it back together and get the right adjusment? If someone can explain it to me or link a how to it would be really appreciated! All I found was pretty useless.

I understand it's pretty easy, but when I compress both springs the lower wire is 1/4 inch to short to clip in the the spool... Am I missing something?
