positive battery terminal.

does anyone know how to change the positive battery terminal? my got eaten away buy corrosion

a good start would be to delete this thread and start it again in the proper tech forum. Then when you figure it out you can post a proper DIY thread here

Moved all the threads. Thanks Team, I've been busy and haven't glanced through to move out all the incorrect DIY threads.


OP,

If it's the terminal on the battery itself, then the only reasonable option is a new battery.

or i could be wrong and he does in fact mean the post on the battery in which case i would love to see how someone pulls that off

If byt "terminal" you mean the clamp on the cable, the best fix is to replace the cable. If you don't want to shell out for a cable, browse through the replacement cable ends at your local auto parts store and look for something that will fit.

However you fix it, make sure the battery and cable are clean, that you use one of those anti-corrosion felt things, and coat the terminal and clamp with vaseline.
