30k spark plugs
60k coils
use big brand oil such as Castrol
keep the oil topped up and changed regularly
make sure to have the latest ECM flash
redline a day
enjoy

If you just recently bought it you may as well change your plugs and coils right now, unless you have maintenance history with it and know when they were last changed.

The term redline just means to get it out away from traffic and drive hard for maybe 5 -15 minutes to heat up oil and any deposits in engine.

High load going up a hill at full throttle @ 7k rpm for a few minutes would be a good way to do it.

Just stomping it at a stop light in neutral to redline would be the least effective method.

A big reason why they say redline a day is so you get your rpms high enough that the last intake valve opens. Which if I recall correctly is around 7250. So at 7000 it is likely your valve isn't open yet therefore not being cleaned out.

2005 auto only has 4 ports so you just have to get it past were the second ports open, not sure what rpm that is on the auto. it is about 3700 on the manual and the 3rd ports open after 7250? of something like that in the 6 port engine.

He doess have an 05 so it would be a 4 port. I guess my question would have only been relevant if he had an 06 or later
