Question PLEASE HELP.... Heat problem

Hello... I had my RX-8 for only 2 days now.... with only 70 miles on it... i've notice the center counsel (where streches from transmission to the rear) heats up pretty fast and get pretty HOT too!!! But i haven't notice if i was ideling when this happen or while i'm moving... anyone have this problem?? Please Help... Concerns me Greatly!! I'll be very appreciated...

Look at the TSB post. There is a TSB for this problem.
Woops-- just looked at TSB's and don't see it but there was something posted about this problem. Try a search.

This was an issue with many early production cars. There is a service bulletin posted on this here. Search for a list of service
bulletins and you will find it. Bassicaly they add insulation under the console. Take it in and the dealer will handle it.
