Paddle switch stopped working
Paddle switch stopped working
Hi All
On my automatic, yeah I know but I'm lazy, the RHS change up paddle is not working.
Does any one out there know if these operate via micro switches or a contact on a circuit board, etc.
Vehicle is out of manufactures warranty, by 9 months, bugger.
I want to do some home work before going to the dealers so I at least have some understanding what the issues may be, so I'm not lead astray by them wanting making money, sorry if I sound cynical.
I've tried searching the net but could not get any meaningful returns.

The M -/+ on the centerpiece and the paddle shifters all operate with a micro
switch. They are very similar to the Cherry micro switches used in the arcade industry.
I dont have a part # of the top of my head.. Check the service manual.
