Have you done a compression test on your rebuild as of yet?
If you didn't do the rebuild correctly, and still have low compression in the motor, that would be why you are having hot start issues.

Or, it could be something else (fuel pump, starter) causing the hot start issue.

BC.

took it out for a blitz. got a few air mass faults so ill give it a clean and see what happens. probably get a new one tomorrow. not done a compression test yet because you can tell its a lot better than before but ill get a kit tomorrow also and do that. I also think this is not an issue because it has problems starting from cold as well now. I have to give it a bit of throttle to get it going from cold and it floods when hot... Are fuel pumps a common issue as well?

you might have hard starts for a few hundred miles depending on the components you decided to reuse.

Is 90 psi ok? That's when it's hot and won't start. Is there a way I can test to coils? I think I mite have a duff set.
