Ordered Racing Beat Screens
I figured since corportate mazda was so nice in replacing my ac condenser, that I would protect the investment with the Racing Beat screen kit. The $97 they charge for the ac cond' and the oil coolers seem well worth it, compared to the $750 for the new condenser.
PS I think any time someone introduces themselves on the site and has an 04 or 05 rx8 I am gonna say, "Welcome to the site, buy some racing screens and save yourself the hassle!" I
I figure while I have the front bumper off I will install my new AEM cai too and kill two birds with one stone.

I think the 05s and newer come with a protective screen that covers the bottom half of the condenser. The RB sreens are much better. Let us know how the install goes.

oh yeah. Install the screens first. The AEM gets in the way a little bit of one of the 10mm bolts that hold the condenser in and makes it a little bit harder to install if the AEM is done first.

Yeah, I must have an earlier model 05 as well. The service manager and I went out and checked some others on the lot, only the 06/07's had them

Good call with the screens and AEM intake. Mazda-Rati is absolutely right about doing the screens first. I put my AEM in first, and had to go back and undo a lot of it in order to tighten the top screws on the condenser screen
You'll love the AEM though, everyone says my car sounds like a Ferrari
